Fathers Forum March 2022

James Madle & Darolyn Phillips met in 1988 and married in Mesquite, TX, the following year.  They have lived in Rockwall for the past 15 years and previously lived in North Arkansas for 15 years. James was employed with Wal Mart Stores Inc. for 10 years and raised cattle on their farm before returning to Fayetteville and graduating from the University of Arkansas in 2000. His career began on staff with the Department of Veteran Affairs, working inpatient mental hygiene as a therapist. They moved back to Texas to be close to her parents. Darolyn works in commercial insurance financing with Heritage Premium.  For the past 7 years, James has worked as a Therapist with the Youth Advocate Program and Covenant Kids, which provides a team approach to behavioral health services to children and adolescents. James and Darolyn are members of Lake Pointe Church and have been active in their life group and the Regeneration program. James was introduced to the Abiding Fathers men several years ago, worked the 101 program with 10 other men led by Malcom Elliot, and regularly supports the mission.

The Madle’s have 4 children – 2 girls 2 boys: Taylor 26, Emily 23, Parker 20, Jace 16, and 2 grandsons, Micah & Jack Elijah.
