Rafael (Rafy) Gutierrez is the Executive Director/CEO of Abiding Fathers and its associated ministries worldwide.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a master’s degree in Corporate Finance,  a master’s degree in Bible Studies and a master’s degree in Theology – Practical Theology.  Rafy holds a Doctorate degree in Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a PhD in Ecclessiology.  His passion is studying and teaching the Bible and providing pastoral care.

Rafy has given workshops and conferences on fatherhood in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Spain, Ecuador, Mexico and in several cities in the United States. He is the producer and the voice of Padre de Corazón Podcast and Radio programs in 17 radio stations in Latin America.

He was ordained as pastor in March of 2016 by Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas. Rafy and his wife, Ernestine (Ernie), relocated to Plano from Puerto Rico in 1995. They have two grown daughters, Amy and Wendy, and two beloved grandchildren, Coral and Joel.
