Juan José Bonilla

Pastor Juan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with studies in marketing from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. He also studied maritime law at the University of Puerto Rico – Mayagüez in Puerto Rico.

He worked for 17 years with Wells Fargo Bank N.A. in the Midwest region within the U.S., where he held positions as Fraud Investigator, and Financial Crimes Specialist. His leadership both inside and outside the bank led him to receive recognition as a “Diversity Champion” at the national level.

He became recognized for the “humanitarian award” within the city of Sioux Falls for his passion towards communications and service. Juan produced the first bilingual television program, “La Voz Hispana TV”, on NBC and
Fox, as well as to the first bilingual radio program on 94.5 FM, “La Voz Hispana Radio”. In addition, his magazine “La Voz and Global Voice” (translated into 3 three languages), was recognized in the South Dakota archives as part of history.

After finishing his studies at the Biblical Institute “The Point is to Serve” and accepting the call to serve God, he was ordained Pastor under the cover of the American Baptist Church.

Pastor Juan and his wife Mélida, along with their children Andrea, Gabriel, Rebeca, and Joselo, serve through the Ministry of the “Águilas de Cristo” Christian Center in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He currently works as an international Chaplain in the Conacce organization and the National Director of Padre de Corazón in Ecuador.
