Abiding Fathers welcomes you to our monthly Fathers Forum. It’s an opportunity to enjoy fatherhood, fellowship, and food.

Abiding Fathers is all about encouraging, equipping, and engaging men in developing their God-ordained leadership role as fathers in order to make disciples for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dads. Are you in need of encouragement as a father? Want to engage other men in their pursuit to be an example of Christ? Join us as we challenge each other and the next generation of dads.

Ngonidzaishe Mukarakate

I am married to Batsie, and we are blessed with four beautiful children, two girls and two boys. We have the whole range from 22 years old, down to a 10 year old.

I was born in a family of 9 children, 5 girls and 4 boys. Both my parents are late, and 3 of my siblings passed on. Of the 6 remaining, I am the eldest, and that gives me the father role to my siblings according to our culture and tradition.

I am an associate pastor at Lovers Lane UMC, responsible for the African fellowship and prison ministry, which are part of LLUMC ministries.

I am a graduate of Perkins School of Theology 2021. Africa University 2007. MTH and MDiv respectively.
